Starting Grown Up Food

When do you switch from feeding baby food for a meal to feeding real food for meals. How can you be sure they are getting enough to eat. My son is 9 months old and can chew food and has 5 teeth. I just want to make sure he is getting all the nutrients he needs. When can I start giving him chopped up macncheese or grilled cheese sandwich or other stuff like that. Thanks!

You can switch whenever you think your lo's ready. I completely took my son off baby food by I would say 10 months. He didn't want it though, he would push it away. He's been eating mac and cheese and grilled cheese and stuff since he was 8 months, I liked giving him the veggies and fruits so that way I knew he was getting all that he needed. Now, I just give him everything fresh, like bananas, pears, etc
