Sweaty Hands And Feet

My 4 month old always seems to have cold clammy palms and feet. His feet particularly seem to be sweating all the time even when it's not hot, etc. I definitely dress him appropriately for the weather so it's not a problem of him being too hot or cold. Is this normal and does anyone else's baby have this? Neither his father or I have sweaty palms or feet...

My baby has this too. She is only 10 weeks though. Sometimes her feet are soaked and I have to wipe them off. I think her hands get it the most cause she always has fists rigth now. Must be normal if we are both experiencing it! :-)

My daughter is 6M and we always tease her about having sweaty feet!! I never noticed her palms, but her little feet are always sweaty!

Yes, my poor baby has sweaty feet and hands to. I asked the ped. about it an he wasn't concerened at all. He said that some babies are sweatier than others lol!!! And...my poor daughter's feet are LONG to lol!!!! They barely fit on the ink pad when they took her birth prints. Hopefully she grows nto her big sweaty feet. LOL!!!! I of course love them and think they are beautiful!!!!

My ped told me that this is becuase the baby is pulling his or her blood to where they need it which is the trunk of the body - thi smakes them clammy. He said that they do it after they eat and it is completley normal.

that's completely normal. Their circulatory system isn't mature yet.
