Taking Your Newborn On An Airplane

Hello! This may seem like a silly question, but one that I need help with! I am relocating back to the East Coast because DH is being deployed. I plan to do this within the next month. Will 10 weeks old be too young for an airplane? I am worried about ear pressure on take-off and landing. Any tips?? The move is necessary and I don't want to prolong it if possible.

Hi Julie, I'm sure you could check with your pediatrician for solid answers, but I took my son on a plane when he was about 3 months old. He did great and I was pleasantly surprised! But like I say you might want to check with your doctor just for peace of mind! Good luck!

Breastfeed during take off and landing. It takes care of the ear pressure problem.
