Teething Need To Vent

Ok- so my daughter turned eleven months today and we still don't have any teeth in. We have been able to feel one for the past month...it's right at the surface. I keep trying to get her to chew on things, but she doesn't seem to want to. She isn't sleeping well anymore. She is crabby as can be. She has a runny nose. She didn't eat dinner last night. She had a low grade fever in the middle of hte night (today seems fine). She always wants us around. PLEASE tell me this is it (obviously watching her for sickness too). It is NEVER ENDING!!!! All the drooling and cheweing started at 4 months- that's 7 months of this and I feel like we haven't even begun yet!

She will probably pop four teeth at once. I think that my brother did the exact same thing and that is what happened. I'm so sorry. I see we are both up late because of our little ones, maybe we will get sleep soon. :)

I know how you feel - my dd started teething around 3 months - at 6 months she cut one, and it receded back in!!! Now we are 7 1/2 months, and she is going through a rough time w/them again - everyday I just pray she can cut one through and relieve some of the pressure - I did discover that when she wont take the teething ring or anything else, she will chew on cheerios (just tried this about a 1/2 hour ago) - chewing on those seemed to make her a lot happier! I hadn't planned to give them to her for a little while longer, but had to find something she could and would chew on to give her some relief.

I definitely have a sensitive girl on my hands. Her fever went away today and she eats again...but NO teeth. Poor thing. I just want something to happen so she feels better. But, at least I can say THAT was really teething...
