I would have thought this would be too young to have such a temper, but DS has had a temper since he was born! Lately it has gotten worse. He is teething which makes him grumpy so he shows his displeasure much more often. He has thrown everything from a pacifier to toys and has also started raising his head up when he is on his back or tummy and slamming it into the ground. I put him in his crib when he was throwing a fit and came back to find the sheets torn off the bed and the bumper pads pulled loose!! I know it is just temper because he has a blood curdling scream and no tears, which is not how he acts when he is hungry, thristy, tired, dirty, in pain, etc. I asked the pedi and he said it was just his temperment! Its not like this all the time. It used to just be one fit a day (if that!) but now that he is teething it is so frequent! Is there anything you can do for a baby that young with such a big temper??

you can give him tylenol for his teeth pain... that might calm him down a little... I've been giving Connor 1-2 doses of tylenol per day, everyday, because he's like that too when he's teething.. and since he's got 4 teeth coming in the tylenol is back!! lol..
