Ethan turned 1 recently and he is going around pinching me and my DH. OUCH!! I try to distract him but sometimes it does not work. When he keeps pinching, I tell him, "NO, that hurts, you dont pinch". He then will just look at me with puppy eyes and then does it again. I keep telling him no and why he shouldnt do it. But Ouch. Hope this is short lived. ANyone else LO doing this? How do you go about it?

Hi Cae! Bridget is doing this as well. It seems to go in spurts for her. One week she is pinching non stop, others not so bad. She always seems to pinch me on my neck. It leaves nice welts too. It makes me look like I have hickies on my neck. I do the same thing as you...tell her no and that it hurts me. She just doesn't understand it yet. I hope it is a phase!

tell her to pinch herself to see how much it hurts. My brother used to bite so she told him to bite his own arm. He never bit again.

Hey jb. How is bridget doing? How are her eating/sleeping habits? Ethan is just growing way TOO fast. He is so active moving all over the place, so curious and getting into EVERYTHING. I cant believe how big he is, oh my baby is not little itty baby anymore :(

Cae, I know just how you feel. Bridget turned a year on Sunday. We go tomorrow for her 1 year appointment. She is growing like a weed still! She still has only 2 teeth, and no signs of any others coming in. She isn't walking independently, but she will push stuff all over the place. She still eats like a pig! Bottles are here and there. One week she will take all of them, other weeks it is a ha__sle. How is Ethan doing? Is he getting better at table food? Is he saying any words?

Hey jb. Happy B-Day to bridget! I know Ethan too, is growing like a weed. Sounds like she will be getting around soon independenlty. Ethan has been walking since 10monts, so these days for me can get very exhausting! He just want to investigate every single nook and cranny, while its cute, but can get very tiredsome. I slipped up the other day, and he managed to get a penny in his mouth!! I was freaking about it. Its like whatever I do, babyproof, vacuum, clean, put things away, he still finds things to put in his mouth. He has definately got me on my toes!! Sounds like Bridget is doing good on table foods. Ethan is still working on it. HE eats alot of Gerber graduates. He is eating some table foods, but is being VERY, VERY picky about it. He is still only saying dada at the moment, but understand alot of what we are saying. It is so funny, when we say, "bye" he says "ba", and waves inwards..LOL So cute. I hope Bridgrets 1 yr appointment goes well. Keep me updated on how she is doing. Talk to you later.
