I would not recommend a bottle in the crib unless it had only water. I am in the same boat as you...dd is 18 months old, and is still rocked to sleep....sorry I can't be more helpful. My ped said just let her CIO...it will be bad for a few days, but will be OK after about day 3. Good Luck! :et me know what works for you!

I rock my dd but I don't think she would one way or the other cause when she doesn't fall asleep while eating her bottle I will usually lay her down in her bed away after 10-15 minutes and she puts herself to sleep, she also wakes during the night and repositions and falls right back to sleep. She's pretty easy going..

My DD is only 3 months but we stopped the rocking to sleep about a month ago. I started the switch by rocking her until she got drowsy and then laid her down. That way she was able to put herself to sleep. Now as long as she is tired I just lay her down and she does the rest. She is b___stfed so can't help you w/ the bottle question. I usually feed her right before putting her in her crib though. She goes to nursery 2 days a week and I believe they rock her until drowsy too.
