Rabbits, could you send me the list your doctor gave you for what 2 month olds should be doing? I would really appreciate it.

Sure, here it is...The list for should be doing is the following: smiles, MAY make baby sounds and make sounds in response to your sounds, respond to loud noises, begin to distinguish parents from others and begin to respond more to them, MAY sleep uninterrupted for 8-12 hours or wake every 3-4 either is normal, can hold rattle when placed in hand, showing more head control yet still unlikely to be able to support head on own. Over the next few weeks baby will do the following: be aware of seperation from mother and may begin to have difficulty falling asleep, have firmer and less frequent stools, have more purposeful arm movements, will find hands, scrutinize faces and be attracted to colors, discriminate voices and turn to sound of familiar voices.

I also have a two month old - thanks for providng this list. Any idea why they may have difficulty falling asleep??

I don't know....but given all the sleep questions on here for babies around that age, it must be true! :-(
