share your tips. which will prove to be so useful to all our first time mums like me well really all mums and bring us closer as a community. as you can see todays topic is excersing with your baby so bring on the tips ladies ? this tip was inspired from a post by fifijeep

what excerses have you done with your babies? which ones you found worked better and why. and of course what were the results little weight loss or omg i have b___t back weight loss

Great topic....I was wondering if any of you ladies can recommend a baby and mommy exercise DVD that you have used (and you like). I think it would be fun to do something like Yoga together, but I don't know what video to buy. As for my own tip, I love walking around the neighborhood with Aiden. It gives him a chance to get some sun and fresh air, and it is helping me get my body in some sort of shape (I still have a ways to go in the midsection!!).

When my ds was really little (like 6 weeks through 3 months), I would go for REALLY long brisk walks with him sleeping in his stroller. They were usually around 70-80 minutes long. It was great to get a mental break and to walk off some of that baby weight. When he got a bit older and woke up to the world, I wasn't able to do the long walks anymore. I tried jogging for awhile with ds in a jogger, but the only good time weather-wise was in the morning, and he would fall asleep, ruining my attempts to establish a nap schedule. I hope to try the jogging again when the weather cools down this fall. One of the best ways I've found to exercise is to turn on some upbeat music, and dance with ds. We both have lots of fun that way! We've found some fun kids CDs at the library too.
