Vaccinations And Sids

Just wondering if anyone is holding off on vaccinating due to an apparent correlation between them and sids. If has to due with a mucus build up and makes it difficult for babies to breath, which I read can last for months. I was planning on vaccinating at 2 months but after reading this on line am now re-thinking that. Just wanted to hear other peoples thoughts. Thanks.

I have to agree with mosley12. Im pretty sure theyve found that theory to be totally incredible. I also think that vaccinating on time is the way to go... make sure they dont get any unnecessary diseases. ~Kristin~

We do an altered schedule, but it has nothing to do with SIDS. I'd never actually even heard that, but find it hard to believe simply because the number of vaccinations that babies get has practically almost doubled since the early 1990's while the number of SIDS cases has declined drastically. You would think with vaccinations increasing there would be an increase in SIDS cases if there was a correlation.
