Waking Up For Pacifier

My dd is 5 months olsd and has been sleeping through the night since 2 months. The problem is that she wakes up crying every night around 5 am(rolled over) until I come in to give her pacifier or to roll her back over. She then falls back asleep and wakes up every half hour to 40 minutes for the same thing until 7:30. I've tried waiting it out to see if she will fall back asleep on her own, but that doesn't work. Any suggestions? Btw, this only started when she learned how to roll over onto her tummy, but has problems rolling onto her back in the crib. thanks

Does anyone have any ideas?

Question- do you start her out with a pacifier or does it just seem to soothe her at 5am? I used the paci a handful of times at bedtime and decided I didn't want to "chase" it in the middle of the night when it fell out. I only use it for naps and not for bedtime. It has really worked for us.

When my son started doing that I went cold turkey on the soother. He didn't miss it as he found his thumb shortly after. I don't have a problem with him sucking his thumb but some mums prefer the soother. btw I've noticed he sucks on it less and less...mainly when he's in his crib (he's 7.5 months old).

Yes, she does use the pacifier to get to bed, but that isn't the main reason why she's waking up. She mainly gets up because of rolling over and not being able to get back. That's when she cries for pacifier. She never woke up before for the pacifier, just from rolling over. I don;t know why she can't roll back in the crib. I don't mind her using a pacifier, i just don't know why all of a sudden this started. thanks :).
