I live In Toronto where the weather here has been -30 all week. A woman went to go start her car at 7:oo am in the morning and strapped her three year old in the car seat and went inside for 10 seconds to get some bags, When she came outside a Man had stolen her car with baby inside. The lady ran inside to call 911 and wake up her husband who got dressed and asked which direction car was going in and got into another vehicle to go find his son and car. Up the street he found the car involved in a minor accident and the man had taken off. THank God nothing had happened as the little boy was found in the car seat strapped. Pretty Scary? THank God it turned out to be a happy story. JUst a reminder to all

Did that happen in Toronto? (I live just north of Barrie). That's so scary! Things can happen so quickly....

I read the story on the net in Oakville Ont.

The mom must have been frantic, but I am glad her kid was safe. It's amazing what a lapse in judgement can end up in.

I would never leave my child in a car unattended even in my driveway but thank heavens she got him back safe and sound. I bet she wouldn't dream of doing that again!
