Well the time has come where I need to stop br___tfeeding and wean her onto formula. I have no idea where to begin! I've been giving her the bottle for a while now just with water so she'd get used to it, but she doesn't understand what to do. She just chews on it. Anyone have any tips or suggestions? What worked for you?

all i know is you need to do it gradually. I know its not much but at least its an answer. Can you pump and put milk in the bottle instead of water? She ay take that or try a sippy? Good luck

I'd say try the pumped b___stmilk in a bottle and buy a nipple that is most like the b___st. I know they make a bottle system that I saw at target that acts like a b___st. I started giving my daughter pumped milk in a bottle around 4 weeks and she never had a problem. It is probably the milk, i don't know?

Well you've been nursing a little while now so you may have a pretty tough transition ahead. My daughter took an occasional bottle until she was about 2 months old but then she started refusing it. Do you use a pacifier like a Soothie? They make soothie bottles that use the same shape nipple as the pacifier to help make it more familiar. Otherwise you may have to put formula in a cup.
