Im writing because my son is 4 1/2 months old and we started him on cereal 2 weeks ago and he loves it both rice and oatmeal. I tried to introduce solids and started with carrots he ate then but then 2 hrs later threw up soo much, then i stopped carrots and moved on to bannanas he liked then and did not throw up, Now i introduced pears and 2 hrs later again threw up this time Alot more and 3 times, He has no diahrrea or fever so dont think its a virus the drsaid he may just be too youg and his belly not fully developed to digest the fruits & veggies. I feel so bad because hes so good at eating and hes 16 pounds and I thought he would do great with the food, i guess we will just stick to cereal for a little while longer. Oh and btw he is exsclusivley formula fed. Anyone have any info or feedback?? Thaks

I'm a first time mom so I'm still learning myself. Did u try the bananas for 4-5 days before moving on to the pears? That's what my pedi said. His system could be trying to get used to the new foods. My pedi also told me to start with orange veggies (carrots, sweet potatoes, squash) before fruits, but I think that's because LO would prefer the sweet fruit & not want veggies. I've only tries carrots & sweet potatoes so far (LO is 5mo) so I'm still new to all of this too. You may have already knew this but I hope I helped.
