What Does Your 11 Month Old

Just curious, being a first time mom I am always doubting myself and want to make sure I am on the right track! Bella will eat some cereal and fruit in the morning, a 6 ounce bottle before nap, a yogurt and a couple of crackers for lunch, a 6 ounce bottle before nap, some potatoes or stage 2 veg for dinner then an 8 ounce bottle before bed. Does this sound about right to you all? I feel like I am not giving her enough solids, but she is a chubby healthy girl...

my dd, has an 8 ounce bottle when she wakes in the morning then about 2 hours later she'll have yogurt with baby cereal mixed in (about 3 ounces) then for lunch she'll have a fruit (cubed bananna, pears or apples, maderin oranges or somthing like that) and meat like turkey or somthing like that. Then for dinner she'll have whatever we are eating (rice, chicekn, and borcholi for example). During the day I make her a bottle whenever she wants it, so she basically gets around 24 ounces of forumla a day.

Thanks Heather! You are lucky, I cant get dd to eat cubed fruit yet, she will only eat stage 2 pureed fruits. My dd will be 1 on March 30th. I can't even believe ti!

Aaron has a 6 ounce bottle at about 6AM and then breakfast (he won't do cereal anymore so sometimes its eggs with a soggy piece of toast or pancakes or french toast etc.) with fruit. For lunch he has a stage 3 dinner with fruit. In the afternoon he gets a sippy cup of juuice and a few crackers for snack and then dinner he normally eats a meat, a stage 2 veggie and a fruit. Then a 6 ounce bottle before bed. Man I just reread that and I think he's a little piggy man!!! LOL

My dd usually nurses at around 6 am and then sleeps for about an hour longer.I give her cereal and fruit when she gets up.For lunch she may have yogourt, meat or chredded cheese crackers or soup she loves pieces of grilled cheese. In the afternoon I give her a sippy of juice and some finger foods for a snack gerber puffs, cheerios, puffed wheat or some pieces of fruit like bananas, pears or peaches. For supper she pretty much eats what we eat cut up small. I nurse her on her demand so it is probably 3 times a day and twice at night .I know how you feel ry when I tried giving her solids she would just look at us and cry. Then 1 day I was out for lunch and she seemed interested in my food so I gave her some of it and she hasn't stopped since then.I am sure it is a texture thing it must feel so weird to them after the purred for so long.My dd will be a year on April 2nd.

I am glad to have read these posts....I am a 1st time mega-worrier Mom too! My dd will be 11 months on the 27th. I have felt concerned that she is not eating enough of the food groups and have felt that she should be having a food from each group for every meal...which causes a lot of pressure. I am relieved to see that your LO's are not always eating a food per food group at each meal! Here's what my dd eats typically... Breakfast ~~ oatmeal cereal, and fruit w / avocado, then breatsmilk about half hour later Lunch ~~ meat / veg (1/2 jar), or scrambled egg w / cheese & broccoli, 1/2 slice toast, fruit (usually diced pears, peaches, or watermelon), then b___stmilk Snack ~~ cheerios, or muffin, or yogurt, or prunes OR maybe a combo of some of these, b___stmilk Dinner ~~ oatmeal cereal, maybe 1/2 jar of meat/veg from lunch, some of what dh & I eat, bits of cooked pasta, fruit, yogurt if she didn't eat it earlier, then she is nursed again before bed. Does that sound okay? It sure does sound like a lot when I read it....but it doesn't seem that much at the time.
