I don't know what's wrong with my ds. He will start screaming for no apparent reseason at any given time. He has these two little white bumps underneah his gums up front and he has been sucking on his hands like crazy, and drools a lot. Is twelve weeks too early for him to be teething?

They can get teeth as early as 2 months. My ds had 2 teeth at 4 months and my dd is 3.5 months and has 2 teeth barely popping through the gums. Try teething tablets, they work most of the time for my dd.

Hi jacobsmom, too funny - I"m in the exact same situation. My ds (also named Jacob) is almost 12 weeks and has stopped sleeping thru the night. He wakes up screaming so I know he's in pain. I couldn't figure out if it was just a tummy ache until I looked up teething symptoms and he fit all of them - fussy, sucking on hands, drooling a lot, trouble sleeping.. I also noticed white bumps on the bottom gums. Have you found any teething medicine that works? Most, like oragel, say only for 4 months and above. I'd like to try a homeopathic one.

my ds started showing teething signs at that age what helped him the most was tethers and his favor was a home made one that I read about...you take a washcloth and soak it in cool water and let them chew on that. My son still loves that, he actually now just sucks all the water out of the wash rag. he is 5.5 months old
