Hi everyone - boy, it's ben awhile since i've been here. I was wondering when you girls started giving your bubs fresh yoghurt, you know, the cold shop bought stuff, not the baby yoghurt in the jars? My next oldest is 4 nearly five and I'm having trouble remembering! Ciao...

Ias lng as it was made with pasturized milk I *think* it would be ok. Raw milk is basically E.coli soup!

I read you can give yogurt at 8 months - off of babycenter, I believe. Plain yogurt, not the sugary stuff.

I gave my 5 mo old a pea size amount and she spit up for about 2 hours afterwards - oops!

From what I have read, yogurt can be given 9 months and onwards.

I started giving my daughter yogurt a t8 months. Plain, cream on top, full fat yogurt. She loved it and still eats it in the mornings with fruit and cereal. I would often mix her yogurt with the purreed veggies or fruits I fed her.

I started with YO Baby with Cereal at 9 mos.

The YO baby yogurt can be given at like 5 months. My last baby LOVED it! In fact that was the only thing I could get her to eat for the longest time! My other kids was 8 months with normal yogurt.
