My son is only 3 months but he gets fed around 6 (he is like clock work - 7 oz every four hours during the day) and then falls asleep around 8 and I give him a dream feed at about 10 and he is good til 6 am.......I like the dream feed - it is my favorite one but at some point it will have to stop - any ideas?

I do the same thing but I just started about 2 weeks ago doing this.... at this point as if it is working I dont want to change it for a while. Supposely they will let you know when to stop, They just wont eat that much and then you can start moving the time closer to your your last feeding.

OK, that is good to know - thank you!! Do you give yours a full feeding for the dream feed or a smaller one?

he gets his biggest feeding during the dream feeding...He usually only drinks 4 oz at a time but his dream feeding is 7 oz of formula (everything else is b___st milk) plus cereal in it. He stays full until the next morning around 8 or 9. What about your little one... does he more at 10? btw my son is 3 months old too.

Andrew is getting 7oz every feed (every four hours), including the dream feed. I am a new mom and wasnt sure how the dream feed worked and so I just kept it the same as the others!

you are doing it perfect. my baby just eats that way.

I am sorry, but, what is a dream feed?

its when you feed your baby while still. They usually never wake up at that time. what is suppose to do is that you feed them when you go to bed baby should not wake up in the middle of the night to eat. It has worked for me 95% of the time. It didnt work for a few days because my son was going through a growth spurt and wanted to eat at all hours.

Ohhhhh!! I didn't know that there was a name for that. I tried to do that with my son, but if he does not want to eat, he won't even open his mouth.

LOL, I am persistant! I keep dabbling it on his lips and then he tastes it and that is enough to get him going - he takes the whole bottle after that!
