We are getting ready to register for all our baby goods. Is there a specific type of bottle/brand that you think is best? I plan to br___tfeed and supplement with formula. Also can bottle warmers only be used with specific types of bottles? These are the bottles I have considered... Advent Playtex disposables Dr. Brown Which are best? Any others?

I tried a bunch of bottles and the Avent bottles seem like the best to me. Not all bottles work for all babies, though. You might have to try a couple before you find the right kind.

I have been using the Avent bottles and they are working out great. My little guy had no problems taking to this brand.

I use Advent. Dr. Browns are cool, but there is more little pieces and work involved in cleaning and a__sembling them. Same with the Playtex VentAire ones. Advent is just easier. I have never used disposables.

I use Playtex Ventaire, they are the only ones my lil guy will take. I tried a bunch including Dr Browns which was sort of a pain to clean. I like the Ventaire because you can take the bottom off to clean the inside.

I use the old fashion playtex bottles with the big nip[ples and the liners. The big nipples are less confusing if you plan to brestfeed and bottlefeed, the baby uses the same sucking action for both brest and bottle. And i find the formula heats up faster in the liners. The only drawback is you can't use a bottle warmer with the liners, you have to heat them the old fasion way with hot water, but it only takes about 2 minutes. I tried alot of different bottles before settling on this one, so you might have to do the same. Goodluck :)

I just switched to the Avent bottle this week and I think it's much better...Trinity eats quicker, there's MUCH less spit-up, and it's easy to clean....I agree with everyone else...you might have to shop around to see what works best for you and your baby ; )
