Winter Jacket For Infants

My daughter is 4 months and it's starting to get really cold around here, too cold for just her little zip up hoodies we have. So I wanted to get a winter jacket. Does anyone reccomend getting one of those "bundle me" things for the car seat instead of a winter jacket? I think I'm still leaning toward the jacket. I looked on Babies 'R Us and they don't show them online but I know they have them in store, anyone get one from there? are they expensive? I saw some at Target too but I don't think they had them for babies really, more like toddlers.

I'm all for the Bundle Me thingy - my DS has one. Winter jackets are cute, but very bulky for them to be in. I think the Bundle Me is probably more comfortable for them and much easier for you because it just zips over the car seat. This way, you don't have to try and get your DD's little arms into a bulky jacket. Of course, it's totally up to you!

I have been looking ALL over for a neutral winter jacket or suit. I'm due the first week in December and my husband, baby and I are moving back up to New York (from Florida!) before January. Are we nuts?! :) We don't know what we're having and I didn't think I'd have such a hard time finding something neutral or even finding something at all! I too am considering just getting a bundle me, but where do you get them? Should I keep looking for a suit, or start trying to find a bundle me?

KIERSTEN: I actually found my Graco Snug Sak in TJMaxx so it was much less expensive than it woulda been in Babies R Us or some place like that. Where in NY are you moving to?

I have a snowsuit and Bundle Me (I could only find blue or pink to Kiersten). The Bundle Me is in his stroller and his snowsuit will probably only be brought out in Jan/Feb. The only reason I bought it was because it was on sale in Aug. He also has lots of sweaters/jackets & hoodies.

JerseyGirl: Hi! We're moving upstate- near Elmira area. Our families live up there, and we (my husband and I) actually grew up within 8 miles of each other. We're down here for school and my dh graduates in December, so we're moving back up north. I'm so excited to see our families again (Florida to New York is a bit of a commute for dinner! lol) but I'm a bit nervous about all that change right after having the baby. Not too much longer (thankfully) to wait! I'm getting pretty uncomfortable so I cling to it when people tell me that MAYBE I'll go early. One can hope, right? :) So TJ Max was a good deal? Hmm, haven't checked there yet...

DDT: I know, sometimes I almost regret being surprised about the gender because there is so much adorable stuff out there, just not very many neutral choices! My dh is happy though that at least his wallet's safe for the time being! lol

I have some cute (cheap) jackets I found at Marshalls, TJ Maxx and Burlington Coat Factory. I couldn't buy any clothes full price..he only wears them a few times b4 their too small :-0 The jackets are cute...but really bulky and a pain to put on. Plus ds HATES being so confined. We got them for looks mainly but for REAL warmth when it snows we have lots of thick fleece onsies and also I'm going to get a Bundle Me. Do u get one and they are good for Stroller and Carseat? Our Graco Snugride came w/ a fleece thing that goes over the bottom to cover his legs and feet. Is that what the bundle me is like? I'm dreading the winter. It's already hard enough to get out the door now...I can't imagine when we have to put like 3 layers on them!!! It's going to take an hour to get out for a walk!!!

I have a quick question. Does the bundle me fits the convertible car/forward facing seat seat too?
