Yawn 10 Months And Not Sleeping

My 10 month old dd still doesn't sleep through the night. We have an established bedtime routine and she goes to bed at about 9 PM. However she wakes up at least twice during the night, usually because of a wet diaper, hunger, or both. If she happens to be upset or her eczema bothers her, it takes a long time to get her back to sleep again. My faculties are affected because I don't get enough sleep. How can we get her to sleep through?

A 10 month old shouldn't be waking up for hunger during the night unless she isn't getting enough during the day. Try to increase the amount she eats/drinks during the day. Have you tried putting one size up on her diaper duing the night? (eg. my ds wears a size 3 but wears a size 4 during the night to minimize leaks and increase absorption). When you change her during the night she becomes stimulated making it harder to go back to sleep after.

Then how can I tell if she's getting enough to eat during the day? Each meal she eats the equivalent of 5 oz of food with a 4 oz bottle of formula to wash it down. She has four main meals a day (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a meal before bedtime) plus a snack in the morning and a snack in the afternoon.

so then she is haveing 4 bottles a day 4 oz each? if so then that is only 16oz of milk and that is on the low end, i was told to keep it around 20-30 if you can. do you let her eat till she is all done and full? or do you just give her a small amount and that's it? that is another thing my ped told me is to let him eat till he's full, and he will let you know when he's full. i had the same problem and my ds was waking to eat atnight too until i realized he wasn't getting enough solids, so now i let him eat a much as he needs till he's full.
