Hi. Well, I went into labor 2:30am on 1/27/05. I wanted to make sure it was real, so I laid in bed for a bit, next thing I know, I had my butt sticking in the air screaming and holding "it" tight. I told my husband it was time to go. I went to the bath room, I pooped and I pooped, then I started puking and puking, while my husband was running around getting everything ready including our other son. We went to the gas station by my house to call my mom and sister to tell them it was time. (I have no phone right now) We get to the hospital about 3:00. They checked me and told me I was dilated 5, and i said "epidural now please" They put me back into my room, hooked me up to an IV and gave me my anti-biotics for my group b strep. The "epidural man" showed up, gave me my epidural, and I was in heaven. I could still feel a little on my right side, but nothing to painful. The doctor came in and checked me again. He told me that he was breaking my water and would be back in 30 mins to have a baby. Well, it was time, It took 5 pushes and 10mins to get him out. At 5:43 my son Scott was born. My husband cut the cord. We were all so happy. I was only in labor 3 hours. So I didn't get all the anti-biotics that we needed. So the baby had to stay two extra days. He had a little IV coming out of his head. (They tried to other places but it wouldn't work.) He had to have anti-biotics twice a day for 4 days. But his culture came back negitive today and we got to come home. I tried to get to the hospital in time, but my labor went so quick. I am fine now. My br___t are the size of melons because I am bottle feeding. Getting ready to put cabbage on them to dry them up. I am tired, so I am going to go. I hope everyone enjoyed my storie! Oh, he was 6lbs 13oz, 19 inches long. Just wait for the baby to come, and he will. Promise!
