I have been reading about the raspberry leaf tea that it helps in labor and im very interested in it. But I live in Mexico, and i dont know what it is called in spanish. Does anybody know what its called. And what does it taste like? I ask this because I am very picky about teas, dont like them much.

Hello Fatima, I believe the spanish term for raspberry is "sarzamora". Where in Mexico do you live? You can go to any mercado and find the herbs stand, there is one for sure in every mercado in Mexico, (I know because I am from there.) and ask the person attending the stand about the tea, they will let you know about it, but if they offer anything else, ask your doctor first.

I am from Monterrey, Nuevo Leon... and I will go to the mercado to look for it. I am 30 weeks and 2 days, can I start taking it now? Or do I have to wait? I think I read somewhere it has to be after 32 weeks.

I honestly don't think you should start taking it now, because of what I know, the tea is supposed to induce labor, no? What do you know about this tea?

What I have read in the 3rd trimester forum as well as in a web site is that it eases labor, it helps for it to not be so long. But Im not sure how it does that, maybe it helps regulate contractions and that is why it was cause early labor? I think I did read somewhere you shouldnt drink it before 32 weeks.
