beccaboyle, Not to worry..I think that is alot of womens fear. I know it was with my first pregnancy. Yes, it can happen..I'm not really sure how frequently it does but trust me..when your in the hospital with nurses and doctors poking and proding at you, your not going to care about pooping on the delivery table. You'll be too focused on pushing the baby out!. Good luck and not too worry :-)

Actually....I was really worried about this as well. The nurse told me she WANTED me to do this as that way she would know I was pushing right. So I spent the next 2 hours trying to poop on the table, lol. It was a wierd feeling as that is how you push.

I wanted to add..if you are really worried about it, you can request to have an enema when you get to the hospital. It used to be standard procedure but they don't do it anymore unless requested

I did it. I didn't care. You can't tell which hole you're pushing out of!!!!

i feel embara__sed about that too, but at my cla__ses the nurse said that you're gonna wanna poo on the table, because that means your pushing right, and giving really good pushes. and they clean it up asap anyways, they're used to women in labor pooping because you have to push with the same muscles, so dont worry i know i wont : )
