Inducing Labor Pg1310741826

Has anyone convinced their doctor to induce them at 39 weeks with no medical complications, and only for convenience purposes? I’m currently 32 weeks pregnant with a chunky cheeked little boy. I live almost 2 hours from a hospital that delivers babies and I am worried about going into labor at home. I was induced with my first child at 37 weeks because my doctor feared I would go into labor while he was on vacation. When I arrived at the hospital they told me I was having contractions and the contractions were five minutes apart... (I didn’t even feel them) they broke my water, gave me a little bit of pitocin (oxytocin) and with-in 4 hours she was in my arms. (The contractions came on strong but it wasn’t anything I couldn’t handle, labor and delivery was actually a lot easier than I thought it would be.) Now I’m worried that if I go into labor naturally by the time I actually feel the contractions I will not make it to the hospital and will be delivering in my vehicle. I know everyone would love to plan the day they deliver and it just doesn’t work that way (I don’t even know if I will make it to 39 weeks), but If I complete the 39 weeks, is there any way a doctor would be willing to induce?
