Can You Sued Your Dr When Tuba Ligation Goes Wrong

I'm 37 y old, married w/2 children. I had the tuba ligation done 6 months ago. I spent 2 months in recovery due to complications meaning (no s_x) then I got my period twice the same month, now I have 11 weeks pregnant. Can I sued my Dr? Has anybody done so? I'm sharing my story to warn women that you can still get pregnant after tubal ligation. If your br___t is tender or any other sign and you suspect that your pregnant, get a home pregnancy test or go to your Dr. It could happen to you.

If you are in the U.S. I think you would have a hard time winning if you sued. You had to sign a paper acknowledging the risks of surgery and also acknowledging that you understood that a tubal, while intended to be permanent, is not 100%.

i would think tubal law suits would be hard to win. With tubals your not suppose to do any heavy lifting, be too avtice, etc. and you have to be able to prove you never exerted yourself at ll while healing not just about hte s_x thing. I feel sorry that your in this situation and maybe after this abby your husband can get a vasectomy there much more reliable than tubaligations :)

A case like that would be hard to win. They have you sign release forms for a reason. It says on there and they should tell you that it is not 100% and that it is meant to be permanent. But once again, not always 100% effective.
