Complications With Dwarfism

Dwarfism runs in my wife's family, and she reaches just a little over three feet. I'm worried, though, that if we try to have a child, it could harm her if the child turns out to be a full sized baby and doesn't suffer the condition. What kind of complications may come up? And no, this is not a hoax, so I would appreciate it if advice was left instead of comments like "quit kidding around".

I don't know any precise information about dwarfism, but I do know that in general size doesn't matter much. My aunt is barely four feet tall, and my uncle is almost seven feet, and they had a baby. My aunt didn't have any complications during the pregnancy. Apparently a woman's body can stretch to an enormous size. If you two are planning on having children and are worried about complications, you may want to make an appointment with an OB/GYN to ask.
