hi jennifer, thanks for the reply. so how did you feel when the scan showed positive? was there an explanation for why you had so many neg tests? were you on birth control? sorry for all the direct questions!

I felt confused...LoL, but I have to say I knew only because I looked five months pregnant, they just didn't believe me. Neg. tests, because of an antibody that was masking my hcg (thyroid issues) thats the only explination I got. No birth control for eight months, No problem I don't mind the questions. I hope I can help someone with my experence because it's been hell. I just have been on a ma__sive roller coaster I know ther is plenty of women out there with the same problem. I just got a positive HPT friday and that was walmart brand it was very light, but I guess the reasoning is that I haven't missed my period until now. I guess someone said you can't get a positive hcg count if you are still having your period and YOU CAN have your period and be pregnant. Weird...everyone is different. I just wish I knew sooner I am very worried about not having enough pre-nat. care. But my new obgyn says I should be fine. I can't wait to have another ultra sound LoL. Damn insurence companys.

sorry for the type-o's... But I have a question, how far along would you be? Have you had neg tests? Have you had a pos. Ultra sound?

hi jennifer, thanks again for letting me in on your experiences. to get you up to speed, ive been having abominal pains for about 6-8 weeks now, i went to the docs & was told not to worry & that it was nothing to do with my merina coil, so i put up with the pain for a couple more weeks, then i started 'feeling pregnant', similar symptons to when i was pregnant with my 2nd daughter, i had a preg test done at the docs which came back neg, but still feel 'pregnant'. the reason i am being sent for a scan is that my doc couldnt find the threads of the merina & says the scan will locate it, but i just have this strange feeling that its not going to be so straight forward! if i was pregnant i think i may be about 6-8 weeks or so, im still awaiting a period but im sure that they are a couple of days late. after being on this forum, you do start doubting things because so many women have had experiences that are truly amazing, i mean these questions that i am asking myself seem to be getting answered by other women going through them, its scary!!! as i said before thanks again, i'll let you know what the outcome is once ive had the scan.

No problem. When is your scan sched for? I have another appointment on wed. I have been feeling horrible. LoL. I think that in the first few weeks they thought I was miscar. so they kept sending me home saying that I should await a miscar, but I never had one. I kept my feet up and stayed in bed for three freakin' weeks LoL, and then nothing, there was no bleeding that they said there was going to be or otherwise..I guess they were wrong. @@ Doctors don't know anything anymore. Wish it was the old days they didn't even have the tests they do now that confuse everyone. Guess that's life. Keep me updated.

Yes, keep me posted on how things go. Good luck to you. Have you tried a HPT? Most don't work for me but there is a walmart brand that did happen to work, it was weird that it worked, but it did. Maybe you can try it? They are only 4 dollars. Good luck!
