Ok so for like a few weeks now I am having these incredibuly horrible cramps in my pelvic area and back. I am 36 weeks pregnant. I am now noticing that I am having a little bit more discharge now, which I know is normal at this stage. The thing is that I am getting extremely irritated on the outside of my va___a. I have been wearing light days to keep my undies dry, and my va___a, and labia itch so bad that now they burn from scratching. The discharge has a sweet smell to it, and I am wondering if I am just getting a reaction from a yeast infection or if it sounds like my water is possibly leaking a small amount. I have a dr appt. tomorrow and my strep B test, and I am so embaressed because my va___a is all sore, and raw, and red...anyone?

I am also 36 weeks pregnant and yesterday I was leaking, the substance had no smell to it and it went through my pants, so I ran to the labor and delivery unit as told to do so by my sister who is a nurse. When I got there they were taking no chances and prep me right away. To find out that the leaking was not amniotic fluid but a yeast infection! I was so upset with my self because I was trying to avoid one my whole pregnancy. The infection has yet to become irritating but the doctor prescribed me a cream. I suggest you go to the doctor, don’t be embarra__sed they see these types of things if not worse everyday. Its always best to be safe then sorry. Hope this helps as for you are not alone. GOOD LUCK! I WISH YOU THE BEST! AND CONGRATS!
