Light Spotting In 9th Week After An Argument Any Advice

Hello, I am in my 9th week of pregnancy. I had spotted for a few days during my 6th week. It was very light and a brownish/mucousy texture. At 6 weeks 5 days I had an ultrasound and saw a sac fetal pole and a heartbeat. Now I am in my 9th week. I had an argument with my boyfriend yesterday and that evening I spotted a very little brownish/mucous again. I am worried that I am threatening a miscarriage. I have an appointment with a doctor tomorrow. But I am wondering if I should go to the hospital and have things checked or should I just wait till I see my GP tomorrow. I am not cramping really but my stomach does feel a little off. Could the stress of an argument bring on spotting? I had lost a baby at 14 weeks last December '05 and had a missed miscarriage because the heart stopped beating and am pregnant again after 2 cycles. I had retained fetal tissue after my D&C also for the two months leading up to my next pregnancy. I am wondering if that could have had anything to do with it? I am just lost...freaking out..and I have to attend an Easter dinner and I feel nervous and upset about what is going on. Any advice would be appreciated..P.S I am 38. Kristin

I cant say why you're spotting other than I doubt the argument has anything to do with it. I did spot like that on and off through my first trimester and I am now 24 weeks with no spotting since the second trimester. It may be your cervix? I had bacterial vaginosis that caused my cervix to bleed. Most of the time you dont need to worry about brown blood, but definately tell your doctor about it. Try not to worry too much. Good luck, Happy Easter.

My spotting has subsided (for now) heard the heartbeat in the doctors office yesterday..witha sigh of relief..just trying to take it easy now. Just preaying everything will be o.k. :( Kristin
