Please Give Me Hope

After ttc for 6 years, I finally found out that I am pregnant, actually found out at my physical appt for our adoption application. I have PCOS and took metformin and clomid. I went for my first US last monday, the tech that did the US made it a horrible experience. We knew right away that there was something possibly wrong. He kept asking if I had lots of bleeding and pain and sounded like me answering yes would confirm his thoughts. Then he kept telling us that I was 7 weeks, but it is too small, too small, too small. Needless to say I went to my doctor the next day and she confirmed that it was 5mm but was showing no heartbeat or fetal pole. My cycles have always been (when I got my period) way out of whack. My doctor had me go for hcg levels on tuesday and again on thursday, she said they were increasing and that was good, and they were consistant with a 5-7 week pregnancy. She previously thought I would be 8 weeks when I had my first US. I have had no bleeding, cramping or back aches. I have really not experienced any of the typical symptoms of pregnancy, except tirednes, lots of urination, and slightly sensitive nipples. I am going for hcg levels again tomorrow and another US on wednesday. Time has never seemed to go so slow. I feel that this pregnancy is meant to be as we want it so bad and have tried for so long. I am hoping and praying that I am not as far along as thought. Any thoughts or words of wisdom. I know that we all are having our own issues and have got lots of good information on this site. I hope someone can share their similar experience or fears with me. Thanks in advance and thinking and praying for you all.
