I went for my first doc appt on Monday and the dr did an ultrasound due to a previous miscarriage. The ultrasound revealed a baby with a strong heartbeat (166, I think). I will be 9 weeks pregnant tomorrow. The dr said there was a small bloodclot behind the placenta. He said it increased my risks, but did not seem overly concerned about it. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Thank you for your responses!

I have the same thing. My doc. told me not to worry. She said that most of the time you will just pa__s the blood. So dont worry if you see brown blood, that means its old but if you bleed red call your doc. right away. I could mean other things. But things should be fine. Just try to not over do it and try to put your feet up at least an hour a day. Good Luck to you..

I found out at 7 weeks. I am now 17 weeks with a health baby girl. It is nothing. Don't even think about it. That is no risk for the baby at all, according to MY doctor.
