Small Femur

I am at 36 weeks 5 days and the nurse at the doctors office did a "sizeing" yesterday by performing a sonogram and measuring body parts to estimate his weight (currently about 6 lbs. 11 oz.) She mentioned that his legs/femur looked small to her, but then never said anything else about it (he was also very active during the sonogram). The doctor spoke to me afterwards as well but did not say anything about the small femur comment. I have had 3 other sonograms throughout my pregnancy and have never heard this before. I can't seem to get the "small femur" comment out of my mind though. I looked it up on google and now I am even more concerned b/c it says that can indicate Downs Syndrome (I didn't have an amnio b/c I am 25 and a low risk pregnancy, but my AFP and all other tests came back normal.) I know that the AFP isn't entirely accurate though. I called the dr.'s office to speak to the nurse about it but she is not there today. I think I am driving myself crazy here. Please help!

If I were you I would not worry it could have just been the way the baby was turned...there are lots of other soft markers for ds and beleive me if your doctor had any concerns that the baby had ds he would tell you so as long as he did not mention it all should be fine so try not to worry and if you still feel worried call the nurse back when she will be in but like I said the doctor has to tell you if he thinks there are problems with the baby's health
