I delivered a month early and while I was in the hospital for what I thought was a regular check up, they found that the placenta had tore. I looked pretty bad, but they said as long as it was in the back and not the front it should cause no harm . Although you may go into labor early like me. That was the cause of the preterm labor. Even though he was born early, he was fine after a stay at the NICU for a month. Everything should be fine, but Im no doc!

hi yer ive read that you can go into labour early, which hopefully not too early so it can still survive, it worry's me to death. They said its nothing to worry about and by the next scan in 6 weeks time it probably wouldnt be noticed on there, but surely if its separated now its going to be a problem. glad you were both ok in the end.

Oh no, not too early. Kolby was only a month early. All he needed was oxygen for about three days, a feeding tube and an IV. The feeding tube was becuase he couldnt digest his food yet and was taken out about 4 days before he got to come home. Just remember, everything could turn out to be just fine! Good luck!
