I don't know of any pregnant woman who hasnt developed stretch marks! I have been putting cocoa b___ter but it hasnt helped so much. Maybe you need to ask these woman what precautions they have taken but its really surprising! Anyhow stretch marks- their intensity and color depends on the type of skin you have and your own color!

Your tendency towards stretch marks is mainly hereditary. If your mom got them then you most likely will. It's all determined by genes, lotion does help, but it can't help genetics....sorry.

Aww bless you! I had MAJOR stretch marks with my pregnancy with my DD and she is now 5 months and they are only now beginning to fade and are still quite red! I got them across my tummy, thighs, bum, down the back of my legs and across my b___bs! I tried cocoa b___ter too. I have fair hair and skin and I was told it's worse for women with my colouring. I have been told they will fade to a pale silvery colour in time though - sorry to hear others are rubbing it in by not having any that's a shame. Still, I am proud of mine because they remind me I carried my precious baby girl inside me :-) xxx

My friends were the same way....not one stretch mark. I have them though and still do and my baby is 1 yr old. I always try to tell myself that it was welll worth it. They will fade to a silvery color...but they will probably always be bumpy. I agree with squished...it's hereditary. YUCK!!
