Supposedly 8 Weeks Pregnant Yolk Sac No Baby

Missing My soldier - December 3

I went do my obstetrician yesterday and he did an ultrasound because I am supposed to be 8 weeks pregnant and he wanted to see a heart beat. He was having a hard time seeing anything... But the gestational sac had gotten larger from my 7 week ultrasound. He said that I could have ovulated later... or something along those lines making the pregnancy less than 8 weeks. He ordered me to have a trans-va___al ultrasound today. I wasn't able to see the screen.. but my mother, who was sitting in back, said that the women who was preforming the ultrasound measured something in the gestational sac multiple times. I asked her if it was round and if the outer edges of it were more defined then the inside and she said yes. I believe that would be the yolk sac. Right now my obstetrician is attending a conference in New York for a week and wont be able to see me until next Tuesday. Otherwise I would have gone to see him this afternoon so we could go over the results of the trans-va___al ultrasound and I would be able to know what is going on today... The wait is torture. I'm so scared. My mother read last night, a few different stories of women who had gone through what I am going through. One whose doctor wasn't able to see hers even at 10 weeks. But later that year she had her little miracle baby. Im already aware of nonviable pregnancies... But I haven't a clue how large the yolk sac is because the staff at the hospital said they didn't have the right to tell us anything... Does anyone know what could be going on? Any reassurance that things will be alright..? :'{
