Thin Yolk Sac

Hi everyone. Currently I am 7 weeks pregnant *baby #2*..I went in 2 weeks ago due to some spotting and light cramping, the doctor did an ultrasound and saw just the gestational sac and no fetal pole and no yolk sac, went back the next week *6 weeks pg* and there was a fetal pole that was good size, but she saw something that worries and concerns her. She *my doc* told me that there is no heartbeat, but what concerns her the most is my yolk sac. She told me that it is VERY thin and whispy and in her clinical years what she sees on the ultrasound does not look good. We go in tomorrow for a thrid ultrasound to see if there's a heartbeat. I'm praying there is *we've tried 13months for this baby*. My question is, is is it possible to have a normal pregnancy with a thin yolk sac or is it pointless to still have hope? And if she still doesn't pick up a heartbeat tomorrow at 7weeks but noticed the baby has grown more should I wait and have another ultrasound just in case? See I have PCOS so I'm thinking that MAYBE my date might be off and that could be why there's no heartbeat yet, but then way would my yolk sac be like it is? And how can the baby grow if there's no heartbeat? I'm just so worried and confused.

Im soryr you have to go through this, if the baby has no heartbeat there should be no more fetal growth. If the baby grows in size but they still cant detect a HB maybe ask to get a a couple of HCG tests, 48 hours apart, just to make sure the numbers are doubling. good luck and take care Im sending you well wishes :) Oh ya I have never heard of a thin yolk sac so I have no idea.

Thank you for your imput. I've been searching the web for any info on a thin yolk sac and haven't found anything on it yet either. I didn't think the baby could be growing without a heartbeat, no one has tested my levels at all so far, so I'm for surely gonna have them do that. Thank you again!!
