Who To Believe

I am about 4 months along, and have been with my boyfriend for about 1 year and 3 months. Our relationship has always been unstable, just because I have always been the one taking care of him. I have also, always, been suspicious of his behavior, and often feel paranoid that he is cheating on me and will leave me, even though I give him EVERYTHING he needs. He has been unfaithful to others in the past (he admitted that to me) but swears time and time again that he has never cheated on me or ever would. Well, just this past weekend, I heard from a girl, who I have questioned him about before (lots of text messages and phone calls between them), that they slept together in December. She said it happened once, was a big mistake, and it's over. I asked him about it and he says that she's just jealous and likes him, and wants to break us up. Then, the next day, I had called a close friend of his to see if I could get anything out of him, and he made me promise I wouldn't tell where I got my info from. I did, and he said that my bf has been lying to me from the beginning. He said that he has hung out with his ex gf (who he has always insisted he hates), is constantly flirting with other girls, and is hanging out with someone currently who drives him around and gives him money. When I questioned him about this, he denied everything and got mad that I don't trust him. I guess my question is, without actual physical proof of cheating, who do I believe? Do I believe the man that I have a hard time believing in the first place? Or his friend who has nothing to gain by telling me the truth? Do I leave him and raise this baby on my own (which I am prepared to do if need be), even though I'm not sure what the truth really is? Am I overreacting because I'm pregnant and emotional? Help!!!
