The earlier you stop, the better chances you have of having a healthy baby. Find out imiidiately if you are pregnant and stop using drugs. Early pregnancy is the most important and vulnerable period for development and a lot of things can go wrong if you are using drugs. So stop smoking.

The early months are the most important for the baby's development. Don't smoke, do drugs, or alcohol at all!!! Think of it this way--you are the sole provider for that baby--if you do bad things to yourself, if effects the baby. It isn't hard to give up marij. for just the few short months before the baby comes...it will be well worth it!!! Get support and make sure you be strong for the baby, it is relying on your to keep it safe and healthy.

I will have to also say that you should find out definitely whether you are or are not pregnant. If you are, you need to stop using marijuana. You can't just SLOW down and expect to have a healthy baby. Merely smoking cigarettes has an effect on the baby. Low birth weight, exposing the baby to harmful gases like carbon monoxide. If you are only 4-5 weeks and you stop your baby should not be greatly affected by the smoking, but you should still consult a doctor ASAP! Good Luck!

Keep in mind that even second-hand smoke can affect you and your baby.

I don't think people who are too stupid to answer that question for themselves should be allowed to reproduce
