Hello everyone,

My wife and I had to share our thoughts on having a healthy pregnancy. We sent some private messages to certain individuals but we eventually realized that this information could be helpful to everyone. My wife and I are having our secind child on February 14, 2010 (Valentine's Day ) Our first pregnancy was good but my wife ended up gaining too much weight. This effected her asthma terribly. It also caused her to have unwanted pains in her joints/back. I'm sure you all know that having a healthy pregnancy is the ideal method of choice. This can be extremely difficult! I'm well aware of the many cravings that come with pregnancy i.e. ice cream/pickles, snickers/Doritos, pizza/onion rings, etc. The only thing I can stress to you all is this, the best chances of you fitting into those skinny jeans after pregnancy is having a healthy pregnancy. You must eat right and excercise! If you get a good foundation during the pregnancy, you can finish strong once the baby is out. What I mean is this, there is a window of opportunity right after a woman's body resets after childbirth. Being that I'm a fitness nut, I have a general idea of how to get in shape and stay in shape. But when it came to writing up a plan for my wife, I was lost. A great tool we would recommend is an ebook by Kitty Barker, titled, Slim and Healthy Pregnancy. Here's the link:

Healthy Pregnancy Diet

What the ebook covers:
Dietary guidelines for several different aspects of your diet, including protein, fats, carbohydrates, fiber, fluids, folic acid, calcium, iron, and omega-3 fats;
Simple and straightforward meal plans for pre, post and during pregnancy intake;
Luscious, easy-to-follow recipes;
Guilt-free foods to help with your cravings and nutritional requirements;
Lists of what to avoid before, during and after your pregnancy;
Healthy snacks;
Complete meal plans; and
More than seventy pages chock-full of information you need to know.

Like I said before, my wife and I had to share this information with you all. Hopefully you all have a wonderful and joyous pregnancy. This is it for us. Thanks for reading.
