Okay. I feel guilty about it... sometimes. I didn't excersize before I got pregnant and I don't excersize now. I have gone for a walk maybe twice throughout my 25 weeks, and attempted yoga once. I just can't get motivated, i'm so lazy. And what is worse....I sit behind a desk all day for work. So for now the most excersize I get is my frequent trips near sprinting down the hall to go potty, and shopping. Anyone else??

I just had my baby 10 wks ago. I was a size 4 and exercised b4 pregnancy. During my pregnancy I sat around, no exersise and gained 38 pounds. I say get use to sitting around and don't worry about it. When your baby arrives you just sit around all day feeding them. Pregnancy is hard on your body and your emotions at times, you don't need to be hard on yourself. Oh yeah, I only lost 18 of that 38 pounds.

I am y weeks pregnant. I lost 7lbs right before I got pregnant and in the last 2-3 weeks, I have gained it all back. I sit behind my desk day after day telling myself I am going to walk when I get home but all I do is plop on the couch for some R&R and sometimes a short nap. I am lazy too but hoping to work up to a little exercise. I am glad to know I am not alone. All you read about are these folks who exercise everyday.

i have been so tired just sleeping all of the time but i went to the gym today and did some walking on the treadmill and a little of the bike and i couldn't believe the difference! i had so much energy for the rest of the day. can't wait to go back tomorrow

I had a baby seven and a half months ago, and I lost most of the weight but I wish I could get back to my old weight of 110, I weigh 138 right now. I just can't seem to get up the energy or the time to exercise. Between taking care of the baby and doing the housework, I'm just famished. I had a low self esteem in the first place and this doesn't really help. I really don't have the money to get a membership to the gym, and all exercises just seem so boring and can't hold my attention. I used to ride my bike a total of 24 miles a day, and now I'm so depressed that I don't even want to look at my bike. My husband has been great though, and very supportive. He still thinks I'm s_xy and doesn't think I need to lose weight. I feel so self concious when he wants me to wear lingerie that I cry. Anyone else with me? Is it wrong of me to feel so self concious if my husband still feels like I'm s_xy? I just wish I felt like I was s_xy.

I hear ya! I was extremely active before my pregnancy (mountain biking, going to the gym, etc), now at 19 weeks I am struggling. I even did a mountain bike race at 16 weeks, it took me twice as long to complete the lap as it did pre-pregnancy! I come home from work and just want to eat and go to bed. No energy. I have intentions of getting out and walking when the weather gets better but realistically, not sure I will. I shoveled a lot of snow this winter and still ran around doing errands and house work so I haven't completely become inactive but I feel like a blob!

thank god!! i was being a closet lazy bones and now i can come out!! i am lazy!! have the best of intentions in the mornings but after spending all day on my feet at work, i collapse on the settee. apparently exercising does give you more energy as well as making you sleep better though

GIRL I TOTALLY FEEL YOU. IM BEHIND A DESK ALL DAY ALSO AND I STARTED WALKING FOR ONLY LIKE A WEEK. WHEN I GET OFF FROM AN 8 HOUR DAY I JUST WANT TO EAT AND GO TO BED. SCREW THE EXCERCISING, BUT THEN AGAIN I DONT WANT WANT TO BE A HIPPO, SO THATS WHEN I START FEELING GUILTY.THEY ALSO SAY WHEN YOU EXCERCISE THAT IT WILL PAY OFF IN LABOR, YOUR MUSCLES WILL BE MORE RELAXED. WHO KNOWS, ALL I KNOW IS IM LAZY RIGHT NOW!!

i have just joined a water cla__s and a yoga cla__s, my motivation is that i think a lazy parent will bring up a lazy child, i want to be a good example.

Yeah it will make labor easier, but whats the point when most of us will have epidurals or some type of pain relief. Face it pregnancy is hard on most of us active or not. We need alot more rest. Then we feel like we are being lazy for giving our body something it needs just as much as exercise. Can't win for losing
