Is it true that after you give birth, and start to do exercise for your stomach muscels like situp scrunches as soon as you possibly can, this will help your stomach muscels go back to where it was before giving birth? Also, does B--tfeeding really help the Uterus contract back to the way it was before giving birth?

Breast feeding does help you uterus return to prepregnancy size more quickly than not b___stfeeding.

I started to do situp and alot of walking and with both of my children it only took me about 3 weeks to get back to normal size 105-110lbs. Thank God for that. I fit back into size 3/4 jeans. I am hoping with this one I will be able to lose all the weight agan like the last 2 times. But start doing exercise when your body feels ready for it!! GOOD LUCK!!

it is true that b___stfeeding causes contractions of your uterus and helps everything tighten up more quickly.I don;t think it is reccomended to start exercising until at least 4-6 wks after delivery. You will lose most of your weight naturally, and b___stfeeding again will help empty out all the fat stores your body has made to prepare you for nursing.Walking is always safe tho so I personally would stick with that till at least 4 wks after. Ask your doctor what he/she reccomends, and when he/she gives you the ok then you're good to go.

I gained ALOT of weight from my 1st X pregnancy and I already lost 30 pounds. I've got about 18 more pounds to go. I've got to start walking everyday now, as I noticed it helps. Everytime I go for a stroll with the Carriage, the pounds shed eaiser.

My daughter just turned 4 years old earlier this month and I'm still not to my prepregnancy weight. When I got pregnant I weighed 115 lbs, lost about 18 pounds then gained about 50. Any ideas how to lose the last 20lbs along with the lower tummy and luv handles? Thanks

Yes b___st feeding does contract your uterus muscels, but it feels like your period is occuring. Gotta feel something to know it is working. Don't eat past eight o'clock because when you go to bed an hour later your fat will be stored while you sleep. Remember it is the amount that you eat not what you eat. Keep it sensible and healthy. The young one will learn from you, and may even try a few of your exercising moves. :) Walking is key to start off, but when you go out and about you seem to become the "pack animal" carrying everything the baby will need when visiting, or just on simple outings. Cause you never know. Watch how you lift things ladies, lift with the legs, legs, legs. I am ten pounds lighter than I started but it is hard work, but worth it. Now if I was just able to keep the b___sts I had while pregnant, we would be good. LOL. One more thing, find what works for you, not everyone is the same, you just need to reprogram old ways.

the wonder- I was 20 and weighed 125 lbs. when I had my daughter. I gained 40 lbs. and lost it all and then some. Everbody is different but now that I am pregnant with my 2nd, I have a feeling it won't be that way again.
