2 M C In 4 Months Is There A Still Hope

I had a m/c in June and another one just a few days ago. The first one was at 6wk and last one was at 5wk. I will call Dr to have some tests done tomorrow, but has anybody had the same experience and succeeded to have a healthy child? I'm just very sad and devastated right now. Thank you for your replies.

Yes there is hope for you. I have 3 children, but I also had several miscarriages between them all (7). I only say this because through all the heartache, there also was great joy when things worked out. They never really had any reasons, but hopefully your doctor will do some tests. Good luck!

I also recently had 2 mc in 6 months. It is very devastating. My dr didn't even mention doing any tests, just said that next time we will try progesterone. There is a thread on the 1st trimester of a couple of women who are now pregnant after 2 mc, I have been reading their posts and it gives me great engouargement. Good Luck to you, I know what you are going through. I would have been due this month if i hadn't had the first mc. It is as hard as I was expecting it to be, but some days are easier than others and I am trying to focus on getting pregnant again, although that brings many feelings of fear too.

Thank you for your replies. It is hard to not give up hope at this moment, but I'm trying. Jenn, I hope you would get pregnant soon and have a healthy 9 months. mm, thank you for your encouragement.

I have had 3 miscarriages (one at ten weeks) in the past 8 months. I am waiting for tests results to see if I or my husband have a problem. That said, I did have a healthy little girl, 8 years ago and I conceived her just two weeks after a D&C for a blighted ovum. So, I guess the moral of my tale is that sometimes you can toss the coin and get tails a bunch of times in a row... but then someday it might be heads! I know it's hard. Stay strong. It's the only way.
