For Those That Have Suffered Miscarriage

Hi all. I have a 6 month old daugter, and recently, accidentally, became pregnant again. Im approximately 6 weeks, and I have bright red bleeding, with clots. This started after a transva___al ultrasound. Im pretty sure that this is a miscarriage, yet my hcg levels are still climbing (9000ish last week, and 17000ish this week). If this is a miscarriage, how long will the bleeding last, and how dramatically will my hcg levels drop. I thought this would be a good place to ask for hep/advice...

Your HCG wouldn't be climbing like that. Get another blood test, get another ultrasound. It could be something else other than a miscarriage. But if it is a miscarriage, my doctor told me bleeding can last longer than a normal period and I bled for 11 days. Again, this is another one of those things that its different for everyone, though. Good luck.

It's possible you could have a blighted ovum. When I had that, my hcg level were going up, just not doubling every 2-3 days like they should. I agree that you should get another blood test and ultrasound. You may not be m/c'ing.

I had some bleeding and clotting like that after a transv____al ultrasound, so I heard it's common and may not be a miscarriage. Just give it some time, and let nature take it's course whatever it may be.
