I had a d&c on 24 april about a week later i passed blood clots (big and small) is this meant to happen after d&c? did any one else have this happen to them. I was under the impresion that a d&c was meant to remove all tissues! I just thought maybe this was normal but after reading some stories on here im not so sure help!

jh, yes, I had the same thing. I m/c on March 9th and had a d/c on the 10th. I pa__sed clots for about 5-8 days. My dr told me that if they were no bigger than a silver dollar it was ok. Actually he said its good. Its a sign your body knows what to do. I also learned that if you're not soaking more than 1 pad per hour, its ok. Good luck. I am very sorry to hear of your loss.....one thing I learned from this site, it happens A LOT!

hey jh Did you get your hcg levels checked? they want make sure that they are down to 0. I just had mine checked today. Im sure youll be ok the nurse told me its normal sometimes to have this happen? But we dont get it! :) as long as you dont have pain or soak in an hour or a temperature you at least dont have an infection..Sarah
