Hey there ladies..did anyone ever notice if their periods felt different after mc &/or D&C? I had one last year, then another this year and I swear I can feel like they are more intense- I bleed heavier but less days and I feel "twinges" more localized at my uterus, not just the regular good ol' cramps I was used to. Anybody relate?

Hey Lisa, I don't remember having "twinges" and my periods were the average number of days after both miscarriages. However, with the second one, which I was farther along in the pregnancy with, I did bleed a lot heavier than normal. I've also seen others post on here that they have had small clots and such with their af after miscarrying...so you’re probably not imagining it, there probably really is a difference.

Hey Lisa, I just started my second AF after my m/c on April 1st. My periods are very different. I used to be on a 29-30 day cycle and now they are coming every 36 days. It's very annoying. Mine are also heavier and we'll see how long this one lasts. The last one kept going for 8 days. yuck! I'm hoping that my body will get back to normal. I want my regular periods back. =)

Yeah, I am going to go back to doing OPK this month because I am noticing I am at 27 days now. I was so regular at 28 days you could set y clock by me. Not anymore! Not a big deal, but still.....when you know your body and then it changes, it can be annoying. Well, that's a strong word but you know what I mean.
