My Q is.. I delivered a baby at 18 weeks because of a premature rupture of membrane. I am still bleeding. Its bloody mucis. Not very heavy but I am still bleeding. Has anyone else blead this long? Im scared that something is wrong? I was in labor for 8 hours and delivered a real baby maybe this is why all the blood still!? Any input is appreciated!!

Did you delivere at a hospital? 18 weeks is pretty far along, how long have you been bleeding for? After a woman has a baby she can bleed for a couple weeks!

I would a__sume it would be like any full term delivery and you could bleed for a few weeks. I bled for 5 weeks after my first baby and I was only in labor for 3 hours. I think I would call my doctor. I hope it stops soon and I am so very sorry for your loss.

I haven't heard of anyone getting an us after a m/c. Usually a blood test for hcg levels are done. If you don't get your period in 4-6 weeks.

As lily says, you were pretty far along, bleeding can last 6 weeks after a full term delivery... just check with your doctor if you are worried... So sorry for you too to have to go through that...
