I had a d&c on April 8th. I was eleven weeks pregnant, but baby died at 8w 3d. I had no bleeding until ten days after my procedure. I had a one day af about 30days after my d&c. I just got my second af over the weekend and it is again really light. I just want to know if anyone else has experiensed (sp) this or know why mine are so light now?

I had a d&c on 4/5. I bled lightly for a week after the procedure. I spotted for one day 5 1/2 weeks after my d&c and now this past weekend I bled again- 8 weeks after the procedure. I think this past episode is af because although it was here yesterday and gone today, the bleeding was consistent (sorry for the gory details).

I had my d&c on 3/29, I was 13 weeks, baby died at 8 weeks. After the d&c I bleed heavy for 1 week and spotted for 1 week. 1st af was 31 days after d&c started spotting, then turned into real af, cramps lasted longer than usual, spotted for 10 days after real flow. Having 2nd af 31 days after that, again stared slow, turned into real af (heavy), now waiting to see if I will have to spot at the end of it for another week and a half :( My af's before getting pregnant were every 25 days, were heavier and I didn't spot very long at the end. My cramps seem to last longer now too. I think that my af's are becoming more like they were. I spoke with my doctor and he said that after something like this your body can change. Not necessarily from the d&c, but just from being pregnant. Good luck Laura.
