I started taking baby aspirin when ttc and the month I did I got my bfp. Not sure how related it was, but I ended up m/c. I stopped the baby aspirin as soon as I got my bfp because I was spotting at that time and when I did quit taking it my spotting stopped. Fast forward to now and I found out after the fact I may have clotting issues, so for me I should have continued the baby aspirin, but had no way of knowing that at the time. If you don't have clotting issues/problems, then you probably shouldn't take aspirin in pregnancy. It's something you should definitely talk to your doctor about. Mine ok'd it for me, but for other reasons. Good luck!!!!

Shiner - I was just reading info on that. I agree with Stefkay - I wouldn't take it unless your dr okays it. At least speak with him/her first. STEFKAY - when did you find out about your clotting issues and how did it come about? I'm not trying to be nosy but I'm trying to find a correlation with not being able to conceive. I even looked up the Depo shot, which I was on for two years but stopped four years ago. It's so hard wanting to be pregnant and NOW.

Belief, after this loss the perinatologist ordered a whopping workup of blood tests and found only one thing I tested positive for and it's kind of a new thing (MTHFR) that is somewhat not known a lot about. There is a thread here where many many women who have it have had recurrent m/c's. I think there is a batch of tests that are run on a person with recurrent loss (which most doctors consider 3 or more losses). You could probably ask for the tests. I just got a copy of my labs today so I could have them here at home. If you want to know what I was tested for just let me know...

Thanks Stefkay - I read a little bit on MTHFR, all the acronyms are hard to follow at times. My doc said I don't need any "real" testing done yet b/c I've only had a m/c and a chemical preg. I hate that they tell you it has to be 3 before testing...it makes it so much worse and heartbreaking when you have to go through it.

I know...there are still lots of tests that I can't afford to do right now so when I get pregnant again it is going to be scary. I told the dr. I don't want this to be a "science experiment" to see what works and doesn't, but all I can do is try.
