Wondering, I am on baby Aspirin following my 3rd miscarriage and no causes being determined from all our medical tests. The Dr said to take a baby Aspirin daily as would help the blood to circulate and hopefully avoid any clots-and even if it doesn't help it won't do any harm as is a small dose. Aspirin thins the blood which is why often women take it in pregnancy because in pregnancy your blood thickens and for some women it can thicken too much. Some women are diagnosed with a blood clotting disorder ( I have tested negative for that) If they do have a blood clotting disorder they are given not only Aspirin but also another blood thinning drug such as Heparin. I don't know what alternatives there would be to baby Aspirin as drugs such as Heparin as much stronger even in small doses. Also I would not encourage anyone to take Aspirin or an alternative without talking to their doctor first. There may well be something to take instead of baby Aspirin if you are allergic. I would talk to your doctor to make sure you get the best advice and I wish you a healthy pregnancy very soon-Take care xxx
